Helping you become a Sovereign Bitcoin Citizen

We believes that privacy is only achievable if the INDIVIDUAL takes active steps to protect themselves (e.g., using a VPN or Tor) while operating on the Internet (since it is an adversarial system). Individuals must take PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY to maintain their privacy.

Having said that, we are committed to:

  • Minimizing the amount of information that we collect or retain about you.
  • Describing how your information may be used in this Privacy Policy.
  • Informing you when this policy undergoes any substantive changes.
  • Implementing reasonable administrative, operational, and technical controls to keep your information secure.
  • Never selling your information or sharing it with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Retaining privacy-compromising data for the shortest possible time that is consistent with maintaining, understanding, and improving this website.

Activity Logging

Firstly, this website is configured to produce logs for analytics and troubleshooting purposes. We make every attempt to MINIMIZE logging to protect end-user privacy.

At the moment, we are producing traffic logs in our website!  Thus, if you want to protect your IP-level anonymity, you SHOULD be using a VPN or Tor Browser/Proxy (PREFERRED).

How you receive notifications from our website affects your privacy. We RECOMMEND using a RSS Feeder application RATHER THAN email to receive updates from our website. We further RECOMMEND that you configure the feeder application to operate behind a Tor proxy.

Note that we DISCOURAGE the use of email as a notification mechanism. The protocol is not secure and is overly complex.

If you do want to use email, we RECOMMEND using a one-time proxy email address that appears random (i.e., the email address SHOULD NOT include your name).  Note that if you do submit your email address AND perform the email confirmation step, your browsing experience may be tailored somewhat. After registration, a tracking cookie is used to identify the user between HTTP requests. Again, this is strictly UNNECESSARY if you instead use an RSS feed reader behind a Tor Proxy. This tracking cookie is ONLY used by this website and is not used for data sharing among third parties.

We use a third-party email provider ( to send out email newsletter. Thus, your email address is being shared with them. We DO NOT enable email analytics and tracking features in either our website OR in the mailgun console.

Note that we use Ghost Publishing platform to manage email newsletters. This software has Unsubscribe functionality built-in. And it works swimmingly!

Tor Hidden Service

We regard the Tor Network as a great way to protect your privacy. Tor v3 Hidden Services are a cryptographic endpoint for communicating with nodes on the Internet. Hidden Services are great because they bypass perimeter firewalls. Access to the services REQUIRES knowledge of the onion URL.

We are working on exposing the website on a Torv3 onion address. Join our Matrix Chat room if you want to discuss the technicals or participate in its implementation.
